Sofnolime Carbon Dioxide Absorbent for the removal of carbon Dioxide from breathable gas in diving rebreathers.
The CD Grade is a larger particle size (2.0 to 5.0 mm) with a D-shaped cross-section. It has a mesh size of 4-8 and is often referred to as “408”. It is widely used in commercial diving applications such as chambers, bell scrubbers and gas reclamation systems.

- The Sofnolime sold by American Diving Supply is non-color indicating, meaning that it lacks dyes that temporarily change color as the CO₂ is being absorbed. Rebreather divers should not rely on a color indicator as a reliable method for evaluating continued usage.
Sofnolime ships in high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resealable containers with 44 lb (20 kg) of product inside. Shipping dimensions of each keg are 18" x 12" x 11" and the shipping weight is 50 lbs each. Sofnolime is offered in individual kegs, 1/2 pallets or full pallets. There are 16 kegs on a 1/2 pallet and 32 kegs on a pallet.
